The Citadel's Tau Iota Chapter of Sigma Delta Pi, the National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society, is proud to name

Chad Everett Allan

Bishop England High School

as the 2006 Lowcountry Spanish Teacher of the Year for South Carolina's Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester Counties. On October 10, 2006, an awards ceremony was held at The Citadel to recognize Chad Everett Allan with a plaque and a $300 check courtesy of the law firm of

The other two finalists, Keri Peterson of Trident Academy, and Eileen Hilera Shields of Academic Magnet High School, were also recognized for their achievements with commemorative plaques.
